A.I. News That's Fit to Print
Zach Seward was a reporter and editor at the Wall Street Journal before co-founding Quartz, which he led for 11 years. In 2023, he joined the New York Times as the editorial director of artificial-intelligence initiatives.
Seward will discuss how journalists can harness AI to do innovative, responsible reporting, highlighting new projects underway at the New York Times. He will also consider the challenges that AI poses to journalism's long-term survival.
