Jamie Lauren Keiles is the author of The Third Person, a journalistic inquiry into the rise of nonbinary identity, forthcoming from Farrar, Straus & Giroux. He was previously a contributing writer at The New York Times Magazine. In his spare time, he runs the Instagram-based trans public history project @sexchange.tbt.
