Please join us for “MX100: Why Malcolm? Why Today?”, a special conference marking the 100th year of the birth of Malcolm X El Hajj Malik El Shabazz. The conference will take place on campus and at Possible Futures on April 4-6, 2025.
Hisham Aidi is a filmmaker, writer & scholar exploring jazz, Black history, and diasporic identities. Works include the award winning Rebel Music, documentaries on Malcolm X, Harlem’s cultural history, and exploration of jazz culture and the Maghreb.
