About the Speakers

Hisham Aidi is a filmmaker, writer & scholar exploring jazz, Black history, and diasporic identities. Works include the award winning Rebel Music, documentaries on Malcolm X, Harlem’s cultural history, and exploration of jazz culture and the Maghreb.
