About the Speaker
David Litt, Yale College ‘08, was a former speechwriter at the Obama White House from 2011-2016. During this period, Litt was the lead joke writer for the President’s correspondence dinners. After the White House, Litt served as the head writer for Funny or Die DC from 2016-2018 and primarily works as an author and writer today. He is the author of the bestselling memoir, Thanks, Obama: My Hopey Changey White House Years (2017) and Democracy in One Book Or Less: How It Works, Why It Doesn’t, and Why Fixing It Is Easier Than You Think (2020).
