About the Speakers

Azad Safarov is the co-founder of the Voices of Children Foundation, a documentary filmmaker, journalist, and the originator of the idea for this book. In 2019, Azad and Olena Rozvadovska established the Voices of Children Foundation. He also served as the assistant director of the film A House Made of Splinters, which was nominated for an Oscar in 2022. Since January 2022, he has worked as a local producer for the British television channel Sky News. In 2023, he received a prestigious International Emmy Award for his coverage of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
