About the Speakers
Gina Chua is the Executive Editor of Semafor. She was previously the Executive Editor of Reuters, where she oversaw editorial operations, safety and security, and worked with technology teams to develop newsroom tools. Prior to her time at Reuters, she was Editor-in-Chief of the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong, a Deputy Managing Editor at The Wall Street Journal in New York and the Editor of the Journal’s Asian edition. She transitioned in late 2020, making her one of the most senior transgender journalists in the industry.
