About the Speakers

Emily Greenhouse is the editor of The New York Review of Books. She is the first woman to be sole editor of the magazine, and when she was appointed, she was the youngest editor in its history. Previously, she worked as a reporter and as managing editor at The New Yorker

Radhika Jones is the editor in chief of Vanity Fair and the host of Vanity Fair’s politics podcast, Inside the Hive. Previously, she held senior editorial roles at The New York Times, Time, and The Paris Review

Meghan O’Rourke is the editor of The Yale Review. She is the author of The New York Timesbestseller The Invisible Kingdom: Reimagining Chronic Illness and the bestselling memoir The Long Goodbye, as well as three collections of poetry. O’Rourke is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship.

Deborah Treisman has been the fiction editor at The New Yorker since 2003. She hosts the award-winning New Yorker Fiction Podcast and edited the anthologies 20 Under 40: Stories from The New Yorker and A Century of Fiction in The New Yorker: 1925–2025.
